Ah, September. My favorite month of the year. It always feels like the beginning of the calendar and the best time for resolutions, more so than January 1. New Year's resolutions have never worked for me. So why not try it this way? While I'd love to resolve to lose those last five pounds, become more organized, or learn to make baklava, I think I'll stick with something fairly simple: to maintain a regular blogging schedule.
Up to now, I've been sort of a seat-of-my-pants, blog-when-I-feel-like-it kind of girl. The problem with that is that I can go for a loooong stretch between feeling like blogging. Stuff gets in the way. I can't update every day (trust me, you do not want to hear that level of minutiae.) So I'm going to shoot for twice per week, on Tuesdays and Fridays.
It's still Tuesday! This one counts!
See you Friday.

Good for you for making a commitment. I need to follow your lead. With our busy lives it's easy to let blogging fall by the wayside. I know I like seeing new posts from my blogging "friends." I need to offer new and exciting posts for them, too!
I usually get in approx. three posts a week, but I don't have any particular days when I do it. It's whenever the mood strikes, usually every 2-3 days. Good luck w/your schedule! We, your loyal followers, will be holding you to it.;-)
hmmm....a blog post stating that you will blog on Friday. This is a cheat post!
((smile))
I'm glad to visit whenever you're here. :)
Lol good luck! :)
Amy--Wanna bet how long it will take for me to break this resolution?
Debbie--You are pretty good about posting regularly, and you seem to put a lot of thought into your topics. I admire that.
AC--LOL, yes, it is cheating! But I promise that Friday's post will not be about how it's the second post after my September resolution! I'll actually have a topic.
Janna--I'm glad to visit your blog, too!
Danni--Thanks! I'm already stressing about the next one!
I have the same feeling about getting going with everything again in the fall. And the same feeling about the whole personal blogging thing. :)
I hear ya, Wendy---I'm trying to get better about it, too, and was just telling my wife the other night that I've gone from posting about every other day to about once a week, which is rather lame.
Anyway, thanks for setting the example! I'm gonna try to do the same. I hope.
