...enjoy some vintage ads with stereotypical women.
Always fun!
For the love of God, watch out! A woman is at the wheel!
I think I know where I'd tell this guy to stick his coffee.
This commercial makes me want to kill myself. I don't think Jello is going to solve her problems. She needs something a little stronger.

LAUGHING!!
The second one - I wanted to smack that guy ...geeeezzz...almost like a Sat'dy night live skit! Good Lawd!
He's so *angry* about his flippin coffee--like he's going to cheat on her with those coffee-making hotties in the office. Make your own damn coffee!
Cripes! We've come a long way, baby.
Get out of my head! My parents are having their 50th wedding anniversary party in October and it's a 1950's theme. Part of what we (daughters, grandkids, sons-in-law) are doing are commercials from the '50s!!!! What kind of a crazy coincidence is that??? We're also reworking the words on "The Great Pretender" and are going to sing it. Should be fun. Either that or it will be totally obnoxious. Hopefully, fun!
Those are great.
oh boy!!! so awesome!!
OMG. These are just too much!
We just bought a house that had boxes of 50's stuff in the basement, including a manual for a "Woman's Friend" washing machine, filled with ecstatic and perfectly coiffed housewives SO happy to be producing whiter shirts for their husbands. I wasn't sure whether to laugh, cry, or vomit.
And yes, we know now where the coffee goes! LOL
The funny thing is that I kept having the same argument with my wife but when she switched to Folgers it didn't solve a thing!
WOW!! Thank goodness it's at least politically incorrect to portray women that way these days LOL! Really cool to see the old commercials! Thanks! :)
When a woman's at the wheel, our tires mean more than mileage? WTF does that even MEAN?
WTF?
The Jell-O one doesn't sting me, but the other two? I sense the lopping of an ad man, if only I had a time machine.
This awesome post earned you a Kreative blogger award!
I'm pretty sure a woman came up with the idea for coffee enemas after watching this Folgers ad.
