I'm generally ok reading violence, but this one was so graphic and horrible that I just couldn't take it. I've tried six times to read Garth Stein's THE ART OF RACING IN THE RAIN, but I start sobbing after the first paragraph and don't stop until I put the book down somewhere around page 7 or 8.
